When I am here in the northern Scotland Highlands where I am now, the land awakens a fierce medicine of the ancient feminine within my being. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘤𝘰𝘵𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥, 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘥, 𝘳𝘢𝘸, 𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨.

I feel how the land holds the myths and mythology of the ancient Goddess and especially the Cailleach—who is a divine Hag, Crone, Old wise woman essence.

I feel her living and breathing within myself. I feel this ancient hag and crone mesmerized from within; who looks out onto the world with bleak eyes.

She sees the current state of humanity and the planet, and ruthlessly penetrates through all the gloss, illusions and surface ways of living into the heart of truth.

She slams the intensity of realness and deep, silent presence into the fragmented, incoherent and distorted world we live in—full of lies, artificiality and glossy entertainment.

She yearns for the real….true…deep.

She’s tired of seeing women on this earth being seduced out of their power and true spiritual authority that comes from being connected to the land and the wisdom of the Earth.

She’s tired of women being sexually objectified in our modern day society—and of seeing how women themselves sexually objectify themselves in order to get attention and feel desired out of insecurity.

Sometimes I see photos on social media of women wearing push up bra’s and showing off their cleavage and I ask myself why does this woman wish to reveal the sanctitude of her body for the desire of more allurement, attention and attraction?

Women themselves in our modern day society choose to prostitute themselves for attention and publicity. They have forgotten the honour, nobility and dignity of being a woman.

Have women forgot where their true fierce power comes from? If women truly knew the degree of where their real power comes from, they wouldn’t be able to dishonour themselves and play this game of conforming to a superficial culture and society in which simply glorify’s youth, beauty and sexual allurement.

Where are the fiercely awake, bold, brave, women of this earth? The truth is that she lives within us all, and is often buried deep within the bottom of our essence…deep at the bottom of the lake within our being where the light doesn’t shine and is held in holy darkness. Primordial Power. Absolute silence—a silence that speaks from power.

The truth is that we need women with a voice on this earth—and we need loud, powerful voices of truth to shatter the hypocrisy of this age. Beauty, youth and exposing cleavage will not do justice.

This ancient Cailleach is screaming to us all to wake up. She’s fed up. She’s had enough of the bullshit on this earth. Enough of the destruction, rape and violation of the Great Mother. Enough of the feminine being denigrated within our societies, and enough of the glossy pretty beauty facade that is hooked within young girls psyches from adolescents.

Shifting the locus of our attention from “How do I look? + "Am I desirable and attractive to men" to “How do I feel / what really breaks my heart / what is my unique contribution and soul gift to offer to the Wholeness of this planet?”.

We need to uproot ourselves from the superficial, vain and objectification of our physical bodies as women—and sink back deeply into the holy ground of wisdom within—where true power is derived—and when we speak, we speak not from the mental mind, but from the power, conviction and voice of the Earth herself.
